🟢 “Behind Closed Doors” – An Evening with Joe Diver 🔴
We’re honoured to welcome Joe Diver to the Forkhill clubrooms on Monday 16th February at 8:30pm.
A former Derry and Bellaghy footballer, Joe is now a qualified Mental Health Therapist (MBACP). In his powerful talk Behind Closed Doors, he shares his personal journey — from competing at the highest level in Gaelic football, through his battle with alcoholism, to his recovery and dedication to helping others.
Joe will speak with honesty and heart about the challenges many face in silence, and how we can all benefit from better mental health. This promises to be a meaningful evening of shared stories, strength, and hope.
Please note: This event is suitable for ages 17+.
Joe has also featured on the GAA Social podcast, where his story resonated widely across the GAA community.
All welcome. Spread the word.
